It is Stitch Fix time!! Before I share what I got this month, I just wanted to clear some things up. A few of my friends have been asking me if I REALLY love Stitch Fix as much as I say I do on this blog. Since I suck at fashion and have rarely stepped out of the box when it comes to my boring wardrobe, I understand their curiosity. I just wanted you guys to know that I actually pay for this service myself. It isn’t sponsored by the company and I don’t get the clothes for free. I post about it since I love reading other bloggers posts about Stitch Fix. I am part of their affiliate program, which means if you sign up using my link I get $25, but ANY customer gets a $25 credit for each person they refer, and you don’t have to be a blogger. It is right there on your account page. The only difference is I get a check, instead of Stitch Fix credit… but trust me I spend it all and then some on Stitch Fix. So now that we’ve got that out of the way… let’s get to the fun stuff, my June fix!
Last month, I shared the secret way you can ‘peek’ at your fix before it is delivered, and when I saw what was heading my way this month I was SO excited! I loved every single item and was sure it would be a 5 out of 5. However, what looks good in pictures doesn’t always look good on ME… a lesson I unfortunately learned this month.
Gentle Fawn Alesia V-Neck Dress: I had this pinned, so I was really excited to get it. However, it was too loose on top and tight around my hips. This dress was not made for us pear-shaped ladies. It was still a super cute dress and I loved the soft material, so if you are a little less hippy then I totally would recommend pinning it. Sent back.
Seychelles Scout It Out Gladiator Heels: I requested block heels and I loved these as soon as I saw them. However, the fit wasn’t quite right around the ankle and they were a tad too small. They would have been very versatile and looked super cute with the Gentle Fawn dress. Sent back.
Greylin Camilo Off the Shoulder Top: I love a cute off the shoulder top. At first glance, I thought the print was just okay and the price was a bit high for a simple top, in my opinion. But I kept an open mind, since that 25% off discount for all 5 is no joke. But I didn’t love it on and it didn’t stay on my shoulders very well & kept slipping back up. Sent back.
Daniel Rainn Danita Crochet Top: I did really like this top, but the fit was a bit off. It felt a tiny bit tight (which is strange since I have other tops by this same designer in the same size) and I was worried it was too delicate. I kept picturing my kids tearing it or getting it caught on things as I wore it. Sent back.
Lila Ryan Dorianna Skinny Jean: I have never owned a pair of jeans in this color and I LOVE them! Once again, Stitch Fix has magic pants that always fit me! I love a cropped jean, and these are so amazingly soft. They are a bit more than I would usually spend on an item like this, but I loved them so much and have already got a ton of use from them. KEEPER!
Everly Floral Print Shift Dress: I have had this dress pinned, and when I spotted it on Amazon, I snatched it up. Yes, my Stitch Fix obsession has hit a new level. I also shared this with the ladies on my favorite Stitch Fix Facebook page since I knew they may want it as well. I love this dress and I am so glad I ordered it. I would have never found it without Stitch Fix.
There you go! Another Stitch Fix in the books! Have you tried Stitch Fix? If you want to give it a go it is just $20 to get a box styled just for you and that fee goes toward any clothes that you keep. They also price match (just email customer service) and you get a 25% off discount if you keep all 5 items in your fix! Feel free to use my affiliate link to sign up!
